Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, a night out with friends, or even a family dinner, Joe’s Waterfront has something for everyone.

The first thing you'll notice when stepping into Joe's Waterfront is its laid-back, yet modern vibe. The sleek interiors, with their nautical touches, reflect the restaurant’s waterfront location. Large windows provide panoramic views of the harbor, making it the perfect backdrop for a meal while watching the boats drift by. The seating is comfortable, whether you prefer a cozy booth or a seat near the windows to soak in the views. It's the type of place that feels both upscale and casual at the same time, which makes it a great choice for almost any occasion.

One of the main draws of Joe's Waterfront is the menu, which truly reflects the essence of the New England coast. If you’re a seafood lover, you're in for a treat. The lobster roll is a standout - fresh, tender lobster tucked into a buttery, toasted bun. It’s everything you’d want from a traditional New England dish, served with a side of crispy fries or a tangy slaw. Another highlight is their clam chowder, rich and creamy, packed with tender clams, making it the perfect dish for a chilly Boston day.

Aside from seafood, Joe's Waterfront offers a range of other tasty options. The grilled steaks are juicy and cooked to perfection, while the salads are fresh and full of flavor. There’s also a great selection of sandwiches and burgers, including the delicious crab cake sandwich, which pairs well with a cold draft beer. And speaking of drinks, Joe's Waterfront has an impressive selection of cocktails and craft beers, with something to suit every taste.

Service at Joe’s is another standout feature. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to offer recommendations or answer questions. You can tell they take pride in making sure you have a memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s commitment to hospitality is one of the reasons why many locals and tourists alike continue to return.

What sets Joe's Waterfront apart from other restaurants in the area is not just the food, but also the location. Being right by the water, it offers an experience that few other Boston restaurants can. Whether you're enjoying a meal inside or sitting outside on the patio during the warmer months, the views of the harbor create a peaceful, relaxing ambiance that enhances the dining experience.

Customer reviews reflect a strong sense of satisfaction, with many people raving about the freshness of the seafood, the quality of the dishes, and the overall atmosphere of the place. Visitors often mention the lobster roll and clam chowder as must-try items, and the attentive service seems to be a consistent theme across reviews.

Whether you’re a Boston native or just passing through, Joe’s Waterfront is a dining destination that shouldn’t be missed. It perfectly combines great food, a beautiful location, and top-notch service. Nice restaurant. Food was tasty and plentiful. Could have done with a little more seasoning as my lobster didn’t have any. The soup was pretty tasteless and has a lot of bread for the size of the portion. Good location and value for money. Would recommend it for families and large groups as they seem to be able to cope quite well.

The food at Joes’s was really good. I got the Lobster dinner and they did crack it for me since I am new to a whole lobster dinner. The whipped potatoes were good, and the broccoli was a nice side. The server we had was not great, we had all asked for a salad with our meal, she brought it with our meal instead of ahead of time. She didn’t check back much and was not attentive. Other servers around us were much better so maybe this one was new? The atmosphere was so great, we sat on the patio next to the harbor, so beautiful! I would’ve given 5 stars if the service had been better. But we were happy to get in as other places were over an hour wait on a Monday evening. This place was happy to accommodate us.

We had a wonderful dinner at Joe’s Waterfront! The harbor view was stunning, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was our waiter – the bald gentleman with the mustache (sadly I don’t remember his name). He was phenomenal: attentive, warm, and genuinely passionate about making our experience special. Honestly, he deserves a raise – staff like him make all the difference! We enjoyed the nachos, the lobster roll, the crab roll, and ended with the chocolate cake and ice cream – everything was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. The lobster roll in particular was one of the best we’ve ever had. Thanks to the excellent service and delicious food, Joe’s Waterfront has become a must-return spot for us. Highly recommended!

Awesome view! We requested outdoor seating by the water. The place was slammed so I’d recommend to make your reservations ahead of time. The steak bowl, Oyster’s & crab roll were fantastic will definitely come back next time we’re in Boston!

Great atmosphere. The bartender and waitress were very helpful. We let them give suggestions for the appetizer and the main course and we were not disappointed. The fish tacos and the tri-tip steak were excellent. The customer service was great and we would recommend this restaurant for everyone.

We had a lovely Boston evening at this beautiful location by the water on a warm evening. Had beer, buffalo chicken appetizer, fish tacos and salmon. The best was their onion soup. It was yum. The salmon was okay and the tacos were good. Overall a good location with very amazing servers. Had a good evening dinner.

We had a great time with family celebrating, delicious food, spectacular views! The Crab dip was my favorite. Several ordered the salmon and enjoyed it. The captain’s platter was a hit as was the clam chowder. We also ordered a Reuben sandwich and Shrimp Scampi & Linguine. It was slammed the afternoon we visited, ran out of bread, but we had good service and enjoyed the time together.

Beautiful setting right on the water. Great menu options, lots of variety but kept to a single page so it's not overwhelming. We shared the captains platter as a starter and that turned out to be a great choice. Not a single bite left. Additionally we had the rolls filled with beef, very crispy and an excellent flavor. Shrimp in the scampi were huge! Very affordable even for five.
